Afternoon Tea

Invented in 1840, the concept of afternoon tea took the British Empire by storm. However it would seem that 21st Century culture and unsociable working hours have stolen away what was once the most sociable part of theday.

Well we believe it’s time to turn the clocks back and we offer the perfect setting to enjoy afternoon tea on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, whether that be in our main restaurant or private dining room. 

Expect to be mesmerised with our array of tasty home made treats. Along withour delicious scones served with clotted cream and preserves you can also expect to see our signature chocolate and hazelnut brownies, chocolate éclairs and a selection of sandwiches. Our Empire might not be what it once was but at four o nine our afternoon tea remains as impressive as ever.
