Assistant Manager : Martin Waring
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Martin moved to London in 2001 and worked in the Engineering industry for a few years. With the unexpected slump in the engineering trade, Martin returned to working in the bar and restaurant industry, as he had back in South Africa, and worked at Shoreditch House in the city before joining us at four o nine in March 2011 as a waiter. A renewed passion for food and wine service saw Martin become a popular and strong member of the four o nine team and after five months a well deserved promotion to Assistant Restaurant Manager.
